NO EXCUSE DAILY MINDFUL PRACTICE FOR BUSY PEOPLE

Meditation

Every morning, I try to make it a habit to wake up half an hour before anyone else in my home is up. I stretch out my body a bit and sit in a comfortable position for at least fifteen minutes, I sit quietly and just observe my natural breath. It takes a little getting use to but when you do it a couple of times it starts to get relaxing. I sit quietly in meditation for at least twenty minutes, and then I move on to my next routine.

yoga

I do a very simple thirty minutes yoga routine daily. I find yoga very relaxing, it actives many more muscles in our bodies than the average gym exercise does. Besides, practicing yoga has transformed my life both mentally and physically. Any form of physical activity daily is an excellent way to energize and helps reconnect your mind, body, and spirit. Plus, it is an excellent way to integrate a healthier lifestyle.

Inspiration

Now am ready to start my day. Whatever plan I have for the day usually always includes listening to uplifting music, or I will listen to spiritual teachers. I like Abraham Hicks and Neale Donald Walsh a lot, I also listen to Toni Robbins, Eric Thomas and occasionally I will listen to Joel Osteen, as I drive around getting my day started.

Nature

I make a conscious effort to practice mindfulness as I go about my day. During my break time at work I go for a brief walk in nature, appreciating all the beauty in life, I love flowers, birds chirping and I especially like the sound of the rain, they remind me of all the wonders of the universe.

Gratitude

I usually end my day with a gratitude journal, by writing down all the things that I am grateful for, reading my son a book before bed and this my friends is how I maintain my sanity and connectivity to God or Universe daily.

In conclusion

Adopt an effective practice that is suitable for your lifestyle. There are plenty of regular exercises you can implement into your life, like walking, swimming, running and plenty more. Prayer, affirmations, visualizations are also other ways you can use to get yourself align with your source. Nature naturally restores a person state of mind and neutralizes moods, start utilizing it.
